DISC and Social Styles are closer to what one might consider to be "personality" or "style". ![]() You use the MBTI to help clarify how a group would approach solving problems, understanding the kind of information that different people will pay attention to, and how to optimize planning and decision making.ģ. It isn't really a "personality or style" assessment like DISC or SS. ![]() MBTI is really a measure of cognitive processing - how do people process information, make decisions, and "structure" their environment. It's not a question of which one is better/worse, but what is the window you want to open into individual and team interaction.Ģ. MBTI, DISC, and Social Styles are different windows into personality and temperament. Having used all three I have the following comments:ġ.
